This guide gives a description of the events of the `future' stories (2024 and after) of Opposites Attract. Some of the information spoils the story "The Song My Father Sang", and there might be minor spoiliage for other stories which have yet to appear. I'll try to keep the spoilers on a different page in case you've wandered here by accident and wish to remain unspoiled.

A Short History of Angel Grove's Superheroes, the Power Rangers
Staff Writer, Angel Grove Gazette
One day, in late 1993, Angel Grove was attacked by an evil alien force, headed by Rita Repulsa, who had her sights set on conquering the whole planet. Why she chose to attack Angel Grove first was unknown, but she did.
On that same day, our champions, the Power Rangers, arose to fight them. The five costumed superheroes (soon joined by a sixth Ranger, who had defected from Rita's side) beat Rita and her forces back, until another alien, Lord Zedd, came to see what was going on. Despite managing to destroy the Rangers' supermachines, he still failed to beat them, and they rose up again with new machines.
Despite a few changes (the loss of the team's sixth ranger, the green one, and the addition of a new one, along with different red, yellow, and black Rangers), the Rangers continued to beat back Lord Zedd. The team continued fighting Zedd (and after a while, Rita, who came back somewhat later), gaining two changes in uniform, and yet another change in team lineup, with a new pink Ranger. And then, something unknown happened, and the Rangers disappeared.
But not for long. They reappeared, with new costumes, calling them the Zeo Rangers. The Zeo Rangers were more powerful than before, although they seemed composed of much the same people as before. There was a new yellow Ranger, however, and some of the Rangers seemed to swap colors, while one, the former blue Ranger, just disappeared, leaving the team down to five. The Rangers had a new enemy as well: the Machine Empire, a set of intelligent machines set upon stripping the Earth.
The Rangers valiantly defended the Earth and Angel Grove against the Machine Empire. They evetually added a sixth Ranger, a Gold Ranger, and eventually they defeated the Machine Empire. But not all was quiet.
A few months after the departure of the Machine Empire, Divatox, the latest of the villians, appeared. About this same time, the Rangers showed up with yet another set of new powers. They were now the Turbo Rangers. The Gold Ranger was gone, and the Rangers went through another roster change, gaining a new blue Ranger. Divatox seemed intent on blowing up Angel Grove, for reasons unknown to history. She seemed to be more interested in destroying the Rangers than taking over the planet.
Then, a few things changed. The Rangers' roster was changed again, with new red, green, pink, and yellow Rangers, and Divatox showed less interest in blowing up the city than before. She was still intent upon destroying the Rangers, however, and it was apparent that she was interested in taking over the world after doing so. But, eventually, the Rangers finally drove her away.
Peace reigned in Angel Grove. The Rangers disappeared, never to be seen again.
Until this year, and the coming of the villainess Regina. Once again, an evil alien seeks to conquer the planet, starting with Angel Grove. And the Zeo Rangers are once more here to oppose her. It looks like they're a brand-new team, but they are doing just as well as their predecessors.
Some Major Locations in Angel Grove:
There are four major locations in the stories, all of which should be familiar to PR watchers and/or people who have read the other Opposites Attract stories.
The Juice Bar (and gym): A popular place for high school students to hang out, do homework, and get snacks, all under the watchful eye of Ernie, the former owner of the place, who watches it for the current owner. A lot of events are held in the Juice Bar/Gym, including dances and martial arts tournaments.
Angel Grove High School: This seems to be the only High School in Angel Grove, and the Rangers, like all kids their age, go here.
Angel Grove Park: Angel Grove's main park. It's not known how big this park is, since it seems to enlarge and shrink on a whim. It's a very popular spot for picnics, but it's also a very popular spot for Monsters going after people having picnics.
Command Center/ Power Room: The place where the Rangers get their information. The Rangers often swap the two terms, even though the Command Center is the entire building, and the main room (where the Rangers do research, heal, and such) is the Power Room.
