Alright, I've read several stories about how the original five may have gotten to know one another. Some of them were even well done. However, this story does it better than all others so far as I am concerned.
The story is not over dramatized; it's just a group of kids getting to know one another in an actually believable manner. The characterizations are right on, with enough of a change considering that they are children. Normally Iíd give a bit on what actually happens in the story, but I don't think I should in this case. Finally, the 'storytelling' ending makes things work out just wonderfully.
Itís a good story by a good author, I highly recommend everyone read it. Found at Der Maerchenerzaehler, Fanfiction.net, and The Fanfic Shoppe, among others.
