But I enjoy reading a good fic even more than I enjoy writing, and with the large amount of private fanfic archives out there I continually find that there's some small, private archive out there that I haven't yet discovered. As the larger archives become too popular for their maintainers to keep up, the small ones keep proliferating. And if they're anything like my little one, almost nobody knows about them.
The idea for these pages came from a site called Cascade Library, which caters to fans of "The Sentinel" (good show, if you happen to catch it on the US SciFi cable channel). I discovered that site early on in my exploration of that show and its fanfic, and it's probably one of the best recommendation sites on the net. The reviews on that site are made by multiple people, and they're intelligent reviews that make you want to visit each story. So, with kind permission (she insisted it wasn't needed, but what better way to pay tribute?) from Robyn, the head maintainer, here is the PR version of the Cascade Library recommendation pages.
