The events of 'King for a Day', but much different. That is, the same general plotline, but with drastically different results. Instead of Tommy, Jason is made to think he is ruler of the Machine Empire.
With a more prominent role from Tridor and interesting insight into the relationship between Archerina and Gasket this is truly an interesting take on the original storyline.
Not a whole lot more I can say without ruining things, but if you've enjoyed any of SilvorMoon's stuff before, you'll likely like this. It should be noted that this series is not yet completed. Found at the Snowfields of Night.

An awesome story. King Mondo sets up an alliance with Rita Repulsa. The goal? To destroy the Rangers of course. But which team is the real deal, and which is an evil creation by Mondo and Rita?
Like all of Joe's fics, it's highly intelligent and well written. There are some spectacular fight scenes, and the meeting between old and new Power Rangers is fun and realistic. The twist the epilogue gives us is awesome. Archived at Rovang.org
